Care

Our furniture likes to be looked after.

We have prepared some tips for you on how to take care of your upholstered and wooden furniture so that it will serve you for many years.

Good quality and classic solutions never go out of fashion.
We are a perfect example of this.

How do you look after upholstered furniture?

Avoid excessive dust accumulation on upholstered pieces. To do this, you can use a hoover with a soft brush or use a hand-held wardrobe brush.

If the MAGIC CLEAN fabric is dirty, we recommend using water and a sponge. To remove heavier soiling, gentle detergents can be used. The items should be dried at room temperature.

How do I care for my wooden furniture?

For wooden elements, it is important to protect them from contact with water. In case of spillage, the surface should be wiped up immediately. To avoid excessive dust accumulation, we recommend wiping the surface with a dry cloth. Oiled or varnished wood care products can also be used. Larger dirt should be removed with a cloth dampened with water and mild detergent, then wiping the surface with a dry cloth.

Oil-waxed finished wood should be re-impregnated, on average, every 5 years. The frequency of maintenance depends on environmental conditions, exposure to heat, humidity or sunlight. Re-impregnation involves gently sanding down the top layer of wood and then applying and rubbing in the oil wax with a dry cloth.

Furniture finished with lacquer does not require re-impregnation. The varnish forms a hard layer on the surface, which effectively protects against external influences. The wood is protected against cracking and drying out.

The furniture should be used indoors, the recommended air humidity should be between 40% and 70%. Excessive direct sunlight may cause deformation of furniture components, degradation of varnish coatings or fading of materials.

Tighten all mounting screws periodically.
